Centered on 750 acres with more than half devoted to preservation,
Nature Trail is a gated community located in Pensacola, Fla. Walking
and running trails, tennis courts, residents’ lodge, fitness center, play
park, swimming pools and more are part of the amenities offered to
residents. Construction of Nature Trail was well underway and lot packages had been sold to builders and investors but the retail
market had yet to be tapped when Ideawörks was contacted to help market Nature Trail to homebuyers.
After designing a new logo, signage, Web site and sales materials,
Ideawörks worked with the development team to organize two events to introduce Nature Trail to the local community, realtors and brokers, and the media. Held on-site at the flagship lodge, the events included tours, fresh seafood catered by a local restaurant, video presentations and introductions to the development team. Two e-blasts were sent as follow ups to a printed invitation to the events. News releases were distributed to a custom media list.
The sales events attracted interested buyers, members of the media and scores of realtors and brokers to Nature Trail. More than $10,000 in free editorial coverage was garnered from publicity surrounding the events, including a front page news story and a positive editorial in the area’s largest daily newspaper, as well as magazine and newspaper coverage in a number of other publications. In addition, Nature Trail received mentions in Florida Trend magazine and in the national magazine, Green Builder. Eventually, the sales website was converted to a Homeowners Association (HOA) website, and Nature Trail is considered a Northwest Florida real estate success story, a testament to the vision of its development and design teams.
