Culinary travel experiences are a very popular method for driving tourism business—in fact, the leading travel industry experts at Skift say that food is now “the leading hook of travel.” So when market research revealed that Pensacola, Fla. visitors were hungry for more culinary experiences while on vacation, we decided to give the people what they wanted.

We invited leading travel and culinary writers to dine with us at NYC’s world-famous James Beard House, where five of the area’s brightest chefs prepared dishes inspired by Pensacola’s bountiful, fresh seafood and long, multicultural history. The press devoured it.
